emotional dysregulation

Do you easily get thrown off course by emotional or sensory overload?

Have you been feeling like this emotional dysregulation is affecting your business?

Whether it’s after an unexpected event or it’s a repeating pattern in your life, empath entrepreneurs CAN make their overload symptoms better and therefore feel more in control.

I’ll share my favorite tool for clearing out, getting grounded, and getting back on track. You might be drawn to seeing whether it can also help you reach your business goals.

I’m going to guess that this has happened for you.

Your life is moving along at a good pace. You’re making progress toward your goals. You’re excited about your business and your heart-fueled mission to support your clients.

Then everything changes in a moment. Something unexpected happens. OR the stress, fatigue, and other people’s emotions finally builds up to the point where you can’t take it anymore. You go into fight, flight, or freeze.  Emotional dysregulation has taken over.

So you’re thrown off course.

Decision making becomes more difficult. Your energy and mood dips. Everything starts to feel like a struggle, including serving your clients.

As for finding NEW clients, well, that falls to the bottom of the list (which creates more stress because your bank account is dwindling).

I see this all the time.  Most of the people I work with start at this place.  They tell me that they are absolutely terrified of getting new clients.  They are continually finding themselves dysregulated.

The thought of brining on new clients is just TOO MUCH.

It’s easy to feel powerless in moments like these. But you don’t have to.

It is possible to be sensitive AND powerful no matter what is going on. It’s a matter of learning how to MANAGE the emotion so you can RELEASE the negative energy and AVOID the overload.

My favourite tool for clearing out, getting grounded, and preventing myself from being thrown off course in the future is TAPPING.

Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), more casually referred to as tapping, is a simple daily habit that you can add to your routine to begin to clear up the anger, frustration, and sensory overload that is taking you off course.

Tapping works fast and efficiently to help me regain a sense of resilience and desire to move forward toward my goals.

At this point, I can’t imagine it not being a part of my own daily life. And that’s why it is one of my primary tools in supporting my clients.

Because, even when we get thrown off course (which can happen to all of us), I believe that we must be KIND to ourselves and find self-care tools and techniques that can compassionately bring us back on track.
