What is Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT Tapping)?

Emotional Freedom Technique (also known as EFT Tapping)) is a highly effective healing modality that can be used by anyone. It is often referred to as acupressure without the needles. The meridians that are followed are the same ones that you find in traditional  acupuncture – a science that is over 5,000 years old.

Using these meridians, we work to rewire the programming in the brain. By doing this, issues that have been plaguing you are left behind. Sometimes these are serious traumas that occurred in your childhood. Other times they are smaller, simpler things that have kept you in a bit of a repeating loop in your mind. EFT can be used to combat so many different issues from big to small and back again.

EFT Tapping for anxiety is also highly effective.

The bigger question isn’t about science. It’s about you. How does it work for you? That’s all that matters.  Research is important and having something backed by science can offer peace of mind but in the end each of us is different so what worked for me – might not work for you.

Working with Me

One of the things that comes up all the time in my work is the connection between what we are currently experiencing and our childhood programs.  When we step into the world of healing and we are highly sensitive or empathic it is easy to get overwhelmed or lost in our clients issues.  Ensuring that you have a safe space to work through your triggers makes you an incredibly powerful healer. There are so many people out there doing trauma work without working on their own patterns and often this gets in the way of their ability to hold space for others.

I’ve been in many situations where this has occurred.  I am only able to differentiate in this way because I have been doing my own work for almost 30 years.  I have used EFT tapping for anxiety to help me regulate and clear out many old patterns.

What does a session with me look like?

I like to start by having a virtual coffee/tea and taking a bit of time to get to know one another.  It takes a few sessions for our nervous systems to begin to gel together and so I like to ensure it’s a good relationship for both of us.   During that time we get clear on what you are interested in working on.  Most often issues fall under one of these three categories.  Consistency, Visibility, and Clarity around niche and your offering.  

Once it’s clear where you would like to go then we start to check in on how regulated your nervous system is.  This can often mean things move slower than one might think.  A highly dysregulated nervous system will slow the work down since we can’t heal until there is regulation happening.  

Although this may feel frustrating to start it will mean that you have the potential to move forward leaving behind many old struggles.  

As an intuitive empath myself, I am often to bring words to the emotions you are feeling to help bring clarity to what is going on.

Each session releases a layer of what you have been holding onto. We only go as far or as fast as feels safe for you.

Sometimes the layers are super deep, and sometimes we work on some patterns that are long standing and may not feel like they are connected.
